Training And Development
Should you be successful in securing employment with JB Hi-Fi you will be required to undertake training programs provided by JB Hi-Fi which are mandatory for all employees to complete, as part of your induction and throughout your employment. This will be a condition of employment.
Authority To Conduct Pre-Employment Screening
If selected to attend an interview, JB Hi-Fi will require you to produce at interview 100 points to verify your identity.
Examples include:
Birth certificate/Passport (70pts), Australian drivers license (40pts), Tertiary/student ID card (25 pts) and/or credit/debit card, Utility bill, Medicare card (25 pts each).
You will be required to sign and date a ‘National criminal history check’ application and consent form. This authorisation is to perform all checks of your credentials as allowed by law including discussions with individuals that the Company, in its sole discretion, believes may have relevant information regarding your suitability for employment.
JB Hi-Fi undertakes not to disclose the information obtained through pre-employment screening to any parties outside of those involved in the pre-employment screening and employment process.

JB Hi-Fi is bound by the Commonwealth Privacy Act. Every effort will be made to keep personal information disclosed to us in conjunction with your application for employment confidential. Personal information may be disclosed as required by law and to bodies or persons relevant to your application or any subsequent employment eg contacting your referees or regulatory bodies.
